- Capilano Canyon flume for floating cedar shingle bolts from the upper reaches of Capilano Creek to tidewater, it was about 150 feet above the creek. Commonly used by young men and women seeking mild adventure on holidays and weekends. This card is post marked "1921", so this photo was taken, perhaps, 1915.
