Jerry Conway, 19th and )Uat- erCront, who recently had his leg badly cut in a collision with one of the municipal busses, is mak- ing good progress at the North Vancouver General hospital, where he has been a patient since his accident. He will suf- fer no perm"nent injury as a re- sult of the collision. The winning ticket in the draw for a turkey at Roberts Better Meats store on Saturday was held by Mrs. E. V. Meraw, 23rd and Inglewood. The draw was made by Audrey, the 7-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Burkhart, 14th and Duchess. J. B. Foottit, 13th and Keith Road, is having a new house con- structed at 11th and Esquunalt. E.
