Given in marriage by Mr. James Rimmer, in the unavoid- able absence of her father on business, the bride wse charm- ing in a suit of dove grey silk . crepe, featuring s short coat with the new high neckline and ties at the neck, belted, with full puffed sleeves. The skirt wss cut on gracefully-flared linea A smart hat of matching grey fabric suggested the swagger type, snd shoes, gloves end puree were in matching grey. She wore s corsage bouquet of deep red roses and lilies of the valley. As bridesmaid, Miss Watson chose a dress of pale pink vyells crepe, molded on plain lines. At the high neck its simplicity found delightful contrast in a frilled jabot of white orgsndie. Sleeves were puffed and were ornamented, as was the bodice in front, with tiny buttons of self-material. Her het was of white pebble crepe, brimmed snd shsl)owwrowned, snd her shoes and gloves continued the theme of white. As a corsage bouquet she wore pink-rosebuds snd white sweet peas. Mr. end JNrs. Waseon left for their wedding trip directly from the church to the city, going by speed boat, the bride wearing a tailored blue swagger coat over her wdding costume. After pro- ceeding to Vancouver and Vic- toria they took the boat to San Francisco snd will spend some time motoring in Southern Cali- fornia snd Mexico. SANGSTMR Harold Ross Ssngster, 2332 Heywood Avenue, passed away last Saturday at the North Van- couver General HoepitsL He wss born in Toronto and had been s resident of B. C. for twenty-live years, being well known in base- bal) circles on the North Shore. The deceased was in his 34th year, and leaves to mourn his loss his wife and six children. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the West Van- couver United Church, Rev. Hillis Wright officiating, and interment was made in Cepilsno View Cemetery. C. J. Both piano and violin pupils were represented on the lengthy program, and all acquit- ted themselves in a very credit- able manner. Special mention should be made of the excellent work in the violin ensembles, which opened snd closed the pro- gram. Little Dorothy Green- wood, the assisting artist, ac- companied by Mrs. F. F. Love- grove, gave three vocal solos in an acceptable manner, and wes presented with a bouquet and s box of candy. The proceeds were in aid of the West Vancouver )Velfsre Association.
