LARGEST CROIVD AT LEGIOIV WHIST The largest crowd of the sea- son gathered at the Legion Hall last Saturday evening for anoth- er one of the Military Whist Drives snd Dances put on by Comrade Colin Turner snd his entertainment committee. The whist drive conducted so ably by Comrade Alex. Gleam wss a de cided success and the following ladies snd gentlemen were the successful ones to win the prizes, Mr. snd Mrs. A. MscAulay, hfrs. Glover snd J. Kolthsmmer. An- other very entertaining feature of the evening was a mystery prize, when the shrewdest de- tective of the crowd proved to be none other than the Legion's good friend, Mrs. T. (Molly) Richardson, who was swarded the prize. Splendid arrange- ments were made by the com- mittee to handle the large crowd at the lunch tables after which one of the best dances of the season was held snd thoroughly enjoyed by everyone present judging by the applause which Roy Lowes snd George Childs received for their music which wss everything to be desired.
