All welcome to all the services FAREWELL FOR MISS PHILIP Mrs. Hillis Wright entertain- ed on Friday afternoon at a fare- well tes for Miss Philip, 0 prom- inent worker in the United Church, who left on Saturday en route for Edinburgh, Scotland, where for family reasons she ex- pects to reside for some time to come. The guests included the executives of the Women's As- sociation and a few others. Miss Philip was completely taken by surprise when after 0 few com- plimentary remarks by Mrs. O'Donnell,'resentation wss made to her on behalf of her friends in the church, by Mrs. Hillis Wright. The gift took the form of a beautiful travelling rug, which Miss Philip said would be put into active service immediately Miss Philip has served the church and the community in every way possible since taking up her residence here, snd, as one of the speakers said, never failed to do faithfully anything she undertook.
