ENTRIES CI.OSE AUG. 17 The Sexsmith School Band of Vancouver under Bandmaster Olson gave two very enjoyable concerts in West Vancouver on )Vednesday, 10th instant. The first concert was from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. on Dundarave Pier, and was well attended. In the evening they played from 7:30 to 9:30 on Ambleside Pier, where a large number assembled to listen to them, the crowd stand- ing four and five deep around the young musicians. The West Vancouver Swim- ming Club, who sponsored the afternoon concert, entertained th band with light refreshments during the interval, while the West Vancouver P.-T, A. later served them with supper at Hol- lyburn School loaned for the oc- casion by the West Vancouver School Board.
