They will re-open for the summer term on Monday, 4th April. ~ ~ ~ Hearing cries for help coming out of the darkness at 7 130 p.m. last Sunday from the tide rip in the First Narrows, Alfred Dick- inson, keeper of the Capilano Lighthouse, launched his boat and brought safely to Ambleside wharf two very frightened Van- couver boys whose boat was be- ing carried out into the bsy. They gave their ages as 11 and 8., and stated that a man un- known to them had loaned them the boat during the afternoon, near the park. They also said they had been caught in the rip. and becoming afraid in the darkness, had called for help. The boat, which is in first class condition, is at the Capilano Lighthouse awaiting the owner. o ~ There will be a special bus leaving West Bay at 6:45 s.m. on Easter Sunday in order to facilitate the attendance at the 7 a.m. communion service at St. Stephen's Church. ~ o There will be a half-hourly ferry service throughout the day on Good Friday. The first ferry will leave Ambleside dock at 6 a.m. and the last at 11:30 p.m. The first ferry from the city will leave there at 6:30 a m., the last leaving at 12 midnight. Busses wifi meet all ferries. DR. E. A. HENRY LEAVING FOR VICTORIA Dr. E. A Henry, who for the past few years has been the pas- tor of the United Church, has accepted a call to the Fairfield United Church in Victoria, and will be leaving here to take up his new duties the latter part of June. Dr. Henry will be greatly missed among his own congre- gation, and in the municipality as a whole.
