Trustee Mr. Russell reported that he had discussed this mat- ter with Dr. McCubbin, and the latter had proposed that when the present grant terminates in bfarch, she would be willing to carry on this work on the basis of receiving the fees collected snd whatever the Government grant would amount to. It was resolved that a letter be written Dr. McCubbin that owing to the grant having been reduced so much, the Board is obliged to terminate the present arrange- ment in regard to the School Dental Clinic eifective March 31st, 1933, but the Board hope, however, after that date some arrangement may be found pos- sible to still carry on some modi- fied form of dental service for school children. It was resolved that passes be issued by the principals to all children entitled to ride on the school bus, and that Captain Vince be advised that the rates charged other than pam holders is 8 matter for the Ferry De- partment to decide; that the bus is primarily for ekmentary school children snd high school pupils were only to be carried so long as ample accommodation is available, and that passengers other than school children are not to be carried on this bus. 1446 Marine Drive Phone West 78 FURNACES and SHEET METAL INSTALLED and REPAIRED JOBBING The concert arranged by Mrs. and Miss Joan Durbin last Fri- day night in aid of the United Church organ fund was one of the finest ever given in West Vancouver. In spite of the bad weather and a number of other attractions, there wss a very fair attendance of music lovers, who enjoyed to the full the very excesent program. The artists were Miss Marjorie King, Mrs. Burton Kurth, A. J. Addy, W. W. Knight and Cardo Smalley, and their renditions were fully deserving of the applause which greeted every number. Encores were asked for in every instance and in the second part of the program were given by several of the artists. Both Miss King and Mrs. Kurth were presented with bouquets at the conclusion of their final groups of songs. The accompanists were Mrs. Gunton Smalley, Mrs. J. E. Dur- bin,andBurtonL.Kurth. The concert was started with a brief address from Reeve Ley- land, Rev. Hillis Wright moving a vote of thanks to Mrs. and Miss Durbin and the artists pre vious to the singing of the National Anthem.
