This is an increase of 423,127 passengers and 394,515 vehicles. During November, the ferries carr ed 243,633 passengers and 50,755 vehicles, as compared with 261,597 passengers snd 47,028 vehicles in the cones- ponding month of last year. LEGION WHIST DRIVE The sixth game of the series of whist drives put on this fall by the Canadian Legion, West Vancouver Branch, took place in the Legion Memorial Hall on Thursday evening the 3rd inst- ant. The winners of the prizes for the evening were as follows: 1st ladies, Mrs. R. J. Morris, 153; 2nd ladies, Mrs. J. Tite, 144; ladies consolation, Mrs. H. Harris, 111; Gentlemen's 1st, H. B. Stevens, 155; gentlemen' 2n&l, R. J. hiorris, 148; gentle- men's consolation, Miss Steven- son, 117. Mrs. E. S. Pearce with a score of 819 won the ladies'rize for the series, this being sn electric mantel clock. Mrs. A. Cassidy, Mrs. E. G. Green, and Miss Grace Tite tied for second place with a score of 809. The first gentlemen's prize for the series, a pair of military hair brushes, went to H. B. Stevens for s total of 834, W. Sister being second with 833.
