RAILWAY BRIDGE OVER CAPILANO RIVER TO BE DISMANTLED In this issue there appears an advertisement from the Pacific Great Eastern Railway calling for tenders for the dismantling of their bridge over the Capilsno River. Sealed tenders will be receiv- ed up to 12 0'chmk noon on IVed- nesday, 27th Msy, by the execu- tive assistant of the railway. This, we are informed, does not necessarily mean that the line is to be abandon d. The wooden piers, however, are in bad condition and it will be nec- essary to re-construct the bridge of steel before it can be used for tralfic. Under these circum- stances, therefore, it is cheaper to dismantle it now than at a later date. Voiu Egort Attorney-General Grlgory at o dieu T recently remarked: "Bores orc oiwoyo talkative.
