Sift into 0 bowl, flour, baking powder, spice and salt. Add suet and raisins. then molasses and milk, Stir well together, turn into 0 well greased pan and steam for 3 hours. Serve with a sweet sauce. IValnuf Cake '/2 cup butter 1r/2 cups fine sugar wi. cup milk 2 cups flour I/! teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon baking powder I cup walnuts, chopped fine 1 teaspoon vanilla Whites of 4 eggs Cream butter snd sugar till very light. Add chopped wal- nuts, vanilla, then milk very slowly. Sift flour, baking powder and salt, and add to mixture. Beat all together till light. Then cut in stiffly beaten whites of eggs.
