Angus Hewat to join in the search for her husband, Angus, of Duchess Street and Thirteenth Avenue, who disappeared in Vancouver on Wednesday. According to reports made to police, Mr. and Mrs. Hewat were on a shopping tour. While shc wss in a Granville Street store her husband disappeared and has not been seen since that time. The missing man is reported to have been in ill-health for some time. lV. J. HH.TON HONORED WITH PRESENTATION W. J, Hilton, assistant chief clerk at the C.P.R. wharf freight office, was presented by his fel- low-workers on Thursday, 6th instant, with a gold watch and chain in honor of his gallantry in saving the life of a woman, who tried to commit suicide by drowning on 14th January. Mr. Hilton on the occasion in question jumped in with his clothes on oif the C.P.R, dock, and rescue&i her after twenty minutes'mmersion in the cold water. It is understood that Mr. Hil- ton is being recommended for the Royal Humane Socidty medal WEST VANCOUVER HIGH SCHOOL NOTES Last Thursday a football game was played on the Inglewood School grounds between the West Vancouver High School snd the King Edward High School. The score was 8-1 in favor of the West Vancouver team. Last Friday the Matriculation class gave their concert. The program was as follows: Dialogue by Margaret McLin- toch and Barbara Hadwin. In the wedding scene afi the lady characters were acted by boys, while the girls took the parts of the men.
