FRASIAR MONTESSORI SCHOOL MATIN E E The annual Christmas matinee of the Framar Montesorri School took place last Saturday after- noon before a large number of parents and friends who filled the schoolroom to overflowing. The portion of the room set aside as a stage was very artis- tically decorated to represent a winter scene in the forest. This formed a charming setting for the little play entitled "Princess Snowflake." The part of the princess was taken by Nonie Robson, Gloria Noble represent- ing Princess Nicolette. Both little girls gave a wonderful in- terpretation for children of their age. Raymond Burton-Forster as Jolly Robin played his part very naturaliyJInd he was ably assisted by Peter Crawford as host of the party. Little Norman Jackson sang a song in a most creditable manner much to the delight of the audience and little Buddy Jupp took the part of the jester. The frost fairies were Betty Donohoe, Marion Dundas, Nonie Barbour, Betty Hunt, and Trudie Price and the carol sing- ers Bill Hughes, Bill Reid, Bill Hunt, and Jackie Leggatt. The little scholars all did very well, the lack of the necessity for any prompting being quite noticeable. Marjorie Crawford read the story of the play be- tween the scenes. The children were later enter- tained with dainties dear to the childish heart at s table beauti- fully decorated for the occasion with a Christmas tree and fav- ors, etc., during which they re- ceived a visit from Santa Claus. Afternoon tea was also served to the guests. Fmsrgescy I hone Wssi 881 I After 9 p.m.l 'UEL VERNON FEED STORE A, C. SEARLE Phono Wssi 9 Next door to Theatre Fuel and Building Supplies.
