Bingham gave a short talk on the origin and story of the dances and her friends dem- onstrated them with a skill and agility that delighted the audi- ence. The dances shown were "Speed the Plough," "Ninesome Reel," "The Prince of Orange," vraltz, country dance, "The Nut," and several others. These men, ow- irg to the physical and mental suffering endured in the cause of their country are as 0 rule, in a worse position than the able- bodied men who are unemployed, bemg prematurely aged and burnt out. The Canadian Legion Branch No. 19 at 856 Seymour St., have opened 0 kitchen, where every day about 400 men are given 0 good hot meal. They have also open a Rest Billet at 123 Pow- ell St. where all these men will be sheltered, clothed and fed. Mrs, McLennan, secretary of the Provincial Command, snd Mrs. Rogers, secretary of the Disabled Veterans'ssociation, who were visitors, gave interest- ing and instructive talks on Aux- iliary matters, which were much appreciated by the members.
