F.. Con- don and his assistant, G. Dor- man. The year's work was ex- hibited in the west room of the Pauline Johnson annex, and it was the finest display which has ever been given. Included In it were tables, chairs, tea-wag- gons, writing desks, cedar chests, fern boxes, piano benches, stools, and a large variety of smaller articles. Every exhibit, whether large or small, was beautifully finished and gave evidence that the boys had been well trained and took a real interest In their work. In the manual training building itself a class of boys worked steadily at their benches in spite of the many visitors who surrounded them to watch and J ask questions. Editor, West Van News. Sir:-- I think the sincere thanks of the people of West Vancouver are due to the Reeve and Council for arranging one of the most enjoyable band con- certs I have heard for many years. The Salvation Army Cit- adel Band has an enviable repu- tation and they certainly lived up to it today. The one regret I have in connection with the concert was the poor attendance, but I trust the collection would make up for the paucity in num- bers. I think all who attended thoroughly enjoyed the music and I trust that this f)rst Salva- tion Army band concert will be followed by many others. Yours truly, W. W. HA)VTIN.
