The first edition of the branch paper was distributed to the members. Distinguished Clergyman at St. Stephen's The Right Rev. Derwyn Tre- vor Owen, bishop of Niagara, will be the special preacher at St. Stephen's Church, Sunday night. Bishop Owen is one of the outstanding members of the Canadian house of bishops, an 'ble administrator and a man of deep spirituality. He is the episcopal member of the Angli- can National Commis&~ion and as such visited Vancouver last February. At present he is on the coast in connection with the opening of the new cathedral in Victoria and the meetings of the General Synod boards to be heM next week in Vancouver. Next Monday evening will take the form of a Camp Fire meeting, with "Echoes from Va- cation." The prospects are for a fine organization of the young people during the svinter season. Events wednesday evening Dr. Henry leads an hour's devotional meeting from 8 to 9 to which a cordial invitation is extended. The opening meeting of the iMen's Club is set for October 22. Through the winter from Octob- er. They will meet the 4th Tues- day of the month. The men will gather for supper, followed by an address on a theme of inter- est to men.
