The Greek and Operatic dances and the physical culture movements by the voung pupils drew rounds of applause. Every item of the programme was exceedingly good but the Pamela Dance by the seniors, with the solo part taken by Dor- een Elgar, and La Rose by Dor- othy Rhodes and the Fan Dance by Joan McLaren, Peggy Barker and Doreen Elgar ivere specially noteworthy. Members of the class participating in the pro- gramme were Diana Chapman, Doreen Elgar, Dorothy Rhodes, Doreen Forster, Alma Skeirton, Peggy Napier, Muriel McCulloch, Joan McLaren and Peggy Bark- er. The value and effect of the splendid training given the child- ren was well exemplified throughout the whole program and several were heard to ex- press their intention of having their children join Miss Ellis's classes when they are resumed in September.
