SIountaineering Club estab- lished a club record on Sundav, when they all reached the head of the western peak of the Lions. Leaving Vancouver on Satur- day, two launches conveyed for- ty-four members of the club to St. Mark's Camp, at Lions Beach Howe Sound. After an appetiz- ing corn roast on the beach Sat- urday night members of the par- ty were up bright and early Sun- day. After a strenuous climb up, thirty-four members reached the peak of the western Lion. The remaining ten climbed to another part of the mountains. St. Mark's Camp was reached at 9 p.m. Rough weather was experienc- ed at Point Atkinson on the re- turn trip, and one launch put into Horseshoe Bay. Officials of the club in charge were F. W.
