At a meeting of the Church committee Monday night it was decided to purchase a two manu- al organ recently offered for sale which will be a great improve- ment upon the present instru- ment. Next Tuesday night in the Parish Hall under the auspices of the A.Y.P.A. an illustrated lecture will be given by the Rev. Nelson A. Harkness, secretary of the Canadian Bible Society for B. H SPITA L TO RECEIVE $ 1,000 GRANT A letter divas received by the council from the North Vancou- ver General Hospital asking for a grant and advising them that trustees Dennis and Bridgeman would attend their next meet- ing on 21st May in connection therewith. They ivere advised that the usual $1,000 grant had been already a]]o~ved for in the estimates. and a cheque for that amount ~vou]d be forwarded to them in due course, for which reason there divas no necessity for the two trustees to be pres- ent at the next counci] meeting.
