Albert is a sister and Mrs. Powley a sister-in-law of Colonel Bruce Powley, 25th and Hay- wood. Harry, the 8 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. M. Cunningham, 25th and Haywood, was the vic- tim of an unfortunate accident on Saturday, when he fell out of a tree, breaking both bones of one of his forearms. t Mrs. Faram, who has just re- turned from a trip to the east, has moved into one of the Hodg- son cottages at 24th and Nelson. r Mrs. Jenkinson, who has been living at 24th and Haywood, moved back to the city this week. Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Steven and family of Squamish, were visitors over the week end with Mr. Steven's father, Mr. Peter Steven, 22nd and Inglewood. L. O. L. No. 2990 is holding their regular bi-monthly meeting next Tuesday, 20th instant, in Dundarave Hall. Mr. and Mrs. Davies and fam- ily, of Stillwater, B. C., have moved into the Currie house at 25th and Marine Drive. Jim Holt. while fishing last Sunday in the Capilano River, caught two steelheads weighing 101/4 lbs. each. Mrs. Hoffman, 24th and Law- son, who has been confined to her house through sickness, is -out and about again. t t Ronald Bloxham, 23rd and Inglewood, who a few weeks ago underwent a serious operation, has now sufficiently recovered to be out and about again. Mr. J. M. Stratton has had the front store of his bakery redec- orated. The walls have been done in modelled paint with an ornamental border and a large new light has been put in in the wmdow. Redden and daughter, who have been on a short visit to Vancouver Island, returned last week to their home in Caulfeild. Rafuse of Vancouver, has leased the Bateman house at 24th and Waterfront. Mr. and Mrs. H. DeWolfe Ring of Vancouver have taken a house at Caulfeild. Mr. and Mrs. John Kerr, 25th and Lawson, who have been liv- ing in West Vancouver for the past two years, are leaving here shortly to return to Winnipeg, where they will in future reside.
