COUNCIL TO INSPECT LOCALITIES REQUEST- ING STREET LIGHTS In connection with the applica- tions for more street lighting re- ceived at the municipal hall from time to time and which have now been tabulated by the engineer, the council as a committee of the whole is meeting at the ferry of- fice next Monday at 8 p.m. to inspect those localities in which further lighting is desired. The Council has also instruct- ed the clerk to report the pro- cedure necessary to furnish street lights at the following places, which woukl necessitate extensions outside the present lighting areas: 16th and biath- ers, 17th and Mathers, 16th and Ottawa, 22nd aml Queens, 30th and Mathers, Pilot House Road, and Caulfeil&l to Gleneagles. HEALTH INSURANCE MEASURE URGED BY BOARD OF HEALTH The Board of Ilealth at their meeting on Monday night in the Municipal Hall endorsed 0 resolu- tion of the city of Kamloops and urged the Provincial Govern- ment to introduce 0 Health In- surance Measure.
