IVif- liams Ogden gave an inspiring message on: "I came not to de- stroy, but to fulfil." On the fol- lowing Monday the flowers, fruit and vegetables were sent to the sick and needy of the dis- trict. Next Sunday is Rally Day throughout Canada. In the morning a combined service of the Sunday School and congre- gtaion will be held. The Sunday School will meet at 10:30 a.m. in the Church Hall. Several of the pupils will take part in the service, which begins at the usual hour. The Choir will lead in the service of praise. Parents, members and friends are earn- estly invited to be present at this rally of the whole congre- gation. The evening service at the United Church next Sunday will be a Young People's Rally. Mr. David Campbell of Los Angeles and Mr. Harold Casto of Port- land will give brief addresses. Both these young men will sail next week for China, where they will engage in mission work. The members of the Young People' Society and C. G. I. T. will attend and occupy special seats reserv- ed for them. All young people are specially invited. The Annual Anniversary Ser- vices in connection with the United Church will be held in the church on Sunday, October 29th. The anniversary banquet will be held on Wednesday, No- vember 3rd.
