West Vancouver Memorial Library - Winter 2007 - Issue 15 The Library's DVD collection continues to grow, with over 2,800 titles now available. The Adult Department's collection includes classic Hollywood films, foreign films, television series, documentaries and how-to films. We have many of Britain's finest television series, including: Prime Suspect, Cracker, Rebus, The Last Detective, The House of Cards, MI-5, and Midsomer Murders. Or you can watch excellent programs from A&E or PBS, such as Martin Scorsese Presents the Blues, Rick Steves on travel and the Nature series. You can learn to Latin dance, enjoy the world's greatest operas or use the 10 Minute Solution series to get fit. DVDs go out for 7 days and can be renewed once if no one has reserved the item. As winter settles in around us, sit back and enjoy. Look up a DVD! Know what you want? Look up a DVD by title (or keyword if you are looking for an actor or director), click on the Limit/Sort Search button near the top of the page. Where you see Material Type, click on Videos, then Submit. This will eliminate books and CDs, and leave you with DVDs and VHS videos only. New DVDs - Each month we run a list of newly acquired DVDs. Find it on our Catalogue page under New books, CDs, DVDs, etc. Browse online - Click on the Find Books, Movies, Music page on our website. Here you will find lists of our DVDs by category: Comedy, Foreign, Drama, Documentary, Non-Fiction, and Kids/Teens.
