The Inquiring Mind explain how certain activities can help get little ones ready to read. Materials and information support the popular Ready to Read Workshops that we have been offering parents and caregivers for the past two years. Mysterious Little People Some little people have moved into the Youth Department. I don't mean the kids who visit us and go home with books, movies and music; I mean leprechauns and gnomes. It's true! They began to arrive mysteriously in March around Saint Patrick's Day. They don't say much or move much because they're made of clay. But who knows? Maybe they come alive once everyone has left the library for the day. If you'd like to see them, you'll find them at the Youth Department desk.
