NEWSLETTER Issue 178 May 2005 West Vancouver Memorial Library CONSTRUCTION NEWS Issue number 2 of the "Construction News" is now available at the front desk of the Library. The project is on schedule and the contractor estimates that it will be completed by the end of July. Shifting books and relocating shelves in the Youth Department may take ^ some additional time. Hopefully, everything will be completed by the end of August. Students from Chartwell School painted a landscape scene on the hoarding on Saturday, May 14th. They painted plywood figures at their school and these were attached to liven up the hoarding. West Vancouver businessman Joe Waibel made the arrangements with help from Chartwell teacher Judy Adair, and General Paint donated the paint. Our thanks to everyone!
