Much of our success is due to our exceptionally supportive Library Staff, the commitment and dedication from so many "Friends" who made it all happen and to the Friends who came out to support the sale. As we have limited storage we may need to have another book sale in late October. Thanks are also due to our cashiers for jotting down and keeping track of the number of sales so we can share this information with you. Approximately 180 people came to the sale between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. Saturday. Here are just a few statistics on how our book sales compare since relocating to the Peter J. Peters Room and main lobby: June 2003 =$3,606 February 2002 = $2,457 October 2002 = $2,593 March 2001 =$1,858 July 2001 =$3,539 June 2000 = $8,010 (in the library basement) November 2002 = $ 1,852 (in Reference area foyer) We really appreciated receiving a "postmortem" from Kay Alsop. She has presented a number of recommendations and questions that we hope will help us run our next book sale more efficiently.
