Happy St. Patrick's Day! TREASURER'S REPORT Financial Statement January 1 to February 26, 2003, prepared and presented by Ian Loudon. Bank Account $5,002 Term Deposit $11,407 Cash $172 Total $16,581 Committed expenditures: $1,000 for taped-books $2,000 for the B. C. Writers Club Gaming Account $797 We will be submitting a proposal to the B. C. Gaming Commission for the use of the $797 in the Gaming Account under category 4.2.3. Community Education Programs. We retain only a small balance to keep the account open. Book Cart Sales for this period were - $1,229 A full Financial Report and copies of the minutes are available from the Library's Administration Office - See Lori during office hours. FRIENDS' NAPKINS At the various receptions, the Friends use white cocktail napkins stamped with the blue "Friends of the West Vancouver Library" logo. These are purchased at Costco and are then hand-stamped with our blue logo by Beryl Hardstaff. She has done many hundreds of these for us without charge. As we now use so many more napkins for all the receptions, the Executive feel it would be appropriate to compensate her in the future. We thank Beryl for her kindness in the past.
