AUTHOR VISITS Friends Maureen Eagle and Barbara Drummond hosted the event on Tuesday, October 15th when Artist Susanna Blunt held an informal talk about art. On Monday November 4th, approximately 40 people listened to Peter Stursberg, former CBC journalist, talk about his new book, No Foreign Bones in China. Refreshments were served by Natalie Logan, Maureen Eagle and Grace Kravac. Grace also ensured there were fresh flowers for the occasion. The following thank-you note was received from Artist Susanna Blunt. " It was a wonderful surprise to walk into a room made so warm and welcoming, with flowers and delicious refreshments. Thank you so much - This kind of support is so valuable, and certainly helped to boost my confidence. Many people commented on how pleasant the atmosphere was, created by you.
