NEWSLETTER Issue 148 December 2001 West Vancouver Memorial Library ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING FORMAL NOTICE The Annual General Meeting of The Friends of the West Vancouver Memorial Library will be held: Wednesday January 23, 2002, 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m. in the Library's Peter J. Peters Room. This will be a luncheon to be followed by the Annual General Meeting. Reports will be given by the Society's 2001 Executive and Activities Coordinators, followed by the election of the Society's Directors for 2002. The luncheon in conjunction with our Annual General Meeting is a celebration for all Friends as we commemorate our more than 50 years with the Library. All Friends are invited and encouraged to attend. Please RSVP to: 604-925-0069. A reminder: there will be no regular monthly meetings in December or January, the next regular meeting of the Friends will be on Wednesday February 27, 2002, at 7:00 p.m. in the Peter J. Peters Room. Please note the dates mentioned on your calendar as the next newsletter will not be published until mid February 2002. NOMINATION COMMITTEE Our thanks to Eileen de Bues, Natalie Logan and Brendan Rowell who have so kindly agreed to work on the Nomination Committee. At the Annual General Meeting, once the routine business has been concluded, the Executive will retire from their office and the election (or re-election) of the five Directors will be held.
