MARCH BOOK SALE We managed to fill the Peter J. Peters Room with boxes of books stacked on top and underneath three long rows of double tables. We had a grocery buggy full of records, a book cart full of the foreign books, and our special red dot books were displayed along the counter top near the kitchen. The cashiers were in the hall between the washrooms and everyone left through the side "exit" door. Even with the smaller space, during the two days we took in $1858.65. Friday evening approximately 100 Friends came for the sale and we took in roughly $360.00. No new members joined that evening. On Saturday we made 281 sales. The majority of people arrived at 9-30 a.m. and were gone before noon The $2.00 brown bag special was from 3 to 4 p.m., for a total of 31 sales.
