BOOK SALE '93: JUNE 26TH & 27TH, AT THE ICE ARENA I have to tell you that the usual advance sorting of all the books has not yet been possible due to lack of available space in the Library. So we have a very busy month ahead, to get the work done, and we will need plenty of willing hands commencing during the week of May 24th. Our Treasurer, Irene Caudwell, has kindly offered the use of space in her basement at 1620 Gordon Avenue, West Vancouver for the book sorting. Pat Scrivener has been phoning people about this, but she will be away after June 1st so arrangements will mostly be made by Natalie Logan (922-6281) and her assistant Marguerite Cassetta (922-3498). If you are not yet on the list and are willing to volunteer some time to help with this important task, we would really appreciate a phone call to either Natalie or Marguerite at the numbers shown above. Thank you! This year there will also be lots of records included in the sale. "MUSIC IN THE MORNING" (MUSIC AT THE LIBRARY) The first lecture on April 14th went very well, in spite of the somewhat spartan conditions, and there were about 30 people present. The second session on May 12th was also very successful, but took place in West Van United Church because of construction work.
