NEWSLETTER No.63 March 1993 Dear Friend of the Library, SPRING So March tips over, as a watershed Where runnels southward send their little race Towards a greener land, and grow and spread Till all the fertile veins of water lace The slopes towards the waiting valley, fed By snows of Winter, in a hurrying chase To reach the dry and bony river-bed And green its banks that like a skeleton Seemed finally and desperately dead Vita Sackville-West: The Garden Meet the Spring in the Library and enjoy this month of windy days and changing skies, beloved of poets and gardeners, if you a beginner or have already experienced the joy of planning and starting a garden the Library offers some good and varied book suggestions for your pleasure (look for the lime-green booklet "Gardening Time" to be found on the table in the previous art gallery area). But, before I forget .... Next Meeting: Wednesday, March 24th, 1993 at 7:00 p.m. MEMBERSHIP: A REMINDER AND A WELCOME At our last meeting membership for 1993 had reached 80, 17 short of the 97 at the end of 1992 ....
