A LAUNCHING AND A PRESENTATION On December 1st, the new Bookmobile was officially launched in the presence of Molly Murray, Chairman of the Library Board, Library Staff Members, Friends of the Library and Wayne Mowat, Garage Superintendant of the Municipal Works Yard, who was responsible for designing the Bookmobile. We welcomed the Mayor, Mark Sager, and Member of Council Pat Boname, and we were delighted to have with us Elizabeth Musto. Eileen de Bues presented to the Mayor a cheque for $22,500, the Friends' contribution to the cost of of the Bookmobile, which was much appreciated and graciously accepted by the Mayor on behalf of Council.
