Business Arising a) Booksale Irene Caudwell reported total revenues from the June booksale at $5,606.52. Although Natalie Logan was not present she had indicated that a better method of moving the books onto the floor of the arena should be sought. Various options were discussed but no solution emerged. This will receive consideration during the next 12 months. She also felt that more tables and some chairs will be needed for the next sale scheduled for late June 1993. The Friends agreed to the request from the Parks and Recreation that the weekend maintenance for arena (approx. $200) be covered by the group. b) Bookmobile Jack Mounce referred to the summary contained in his Chief Librarian's report. The new vehicle is nearing completion and will go into service next week. An official launching ceremony will be planned for some time in October or November and the assistance of the Friends will probably be requested. It is hoped that the bookmobile service can be extended to new stops in future.
