Most of the programs (Workshops, Shows, Website, etc.) are set up to breakeven, so that fees and commissions collected are sufficient to recover the direct costs involved. As you know, costs keep changing so we are always looking out for situations where a change in fees may be needed. The second quarter financial report has been compared with the planned budget and the correlation is a satisfactory one. In summary, at the half way point of the financial year, revenue is $14,930, which is 44% of the annual budget of $33,870. Expenditures are $12,399 which is 40% of the annual budget of $30, 628. Income is a bit ahead of expenditures at year end, which is positive and gives us a small buffer to deal with surprises, unplanned costs and inflationary effects.
