It was designed for beginners but would have accommodated most advanced students as well. Mike Svob wifi be giving the January workshop. The interest was so great that there is already another full waiting list. I will contact Mike Svob and arrange for another workshop. Out next two workshops will be by Lorenna Lee on Frbruary 25 & 26, and Michael O'Toole on March 10 & 17. We will take registrations for both these workshops at our February 21 meeting. Lorenna Lee, a very experienced teacher, wifi be giving the workshop on February 25 & 26 at Klee Wyck from 9:30 to 3:00. Please bring a lunch. Coffee and tea will be provided. The cost for the workshop is $50 and registration wifi take place at 6:30 before the February 21 meeting. Loreena was born in Edmonton, Alberta and has lived on the West Coast since coming to British Columbia at a very early age. Although portraiture is her favorite, her paintings encompass all subjects. She currently works in acrylics and watercolor, but she is equally familiar with oils, pastels and pencil. Since 1973, Loreena has had yearly exhibitions, and has many awards. She instructs in all media and has conducted classes in adult education, private tutoring and seminars for the last 35 years. Her drawing courses are always a favorite. Loreena has owned her own business, an art material and frame shop, and also an art gallery, but has returned to her first love, the world of fine art. She currently resides in Cloverdale, an area in Surrey, BC. Her works are in collections across Canada and the United States as well as England, Denmark, Hungary and Germany.
