(\: ADULT SERVICES DEPARTNEN IN THE GALLERY BOOKS BOOKS BOOKS . . . The joy of finding a good new book and quickly making it an old friend is probably unequalled. To us the joy of finding new books which we know will be devoured by our voracious readers is also unequalled. Those rare new books that are sure to please tomorrow and long after really do warm a librarian's heart! And when through gifts and unexpected support we are able to find one more such book, then the thrill is even greater. The Friends of the Library have established a Book Donor Program to enable local citi zens to add a book to the shelves in their name or in honour of an occasion, thereby bringing greater joy to many through the generosity of a few. To give a book through this program, please enquire or pick up a leaflet in the library. * * * * * * Pen and ink drawings of historic English pubs, coach-- houses and rural scenes by artist Daniel Felsead will be on display through November.
