ADULT SERVICES On June 5th a pioneer "friend" of the Library joined the second annual "Memory Cruise", sponsored by the West Vancouver Historical Society, which sailed along the North Shore from Ambleside to Poin Atkinson. The passengers on the M.V. Hollyburn, one of the old West Vancouver ferries of many happy memories, were entertained by the Senior West Vancouver Band and archivist Rupert Harrison, who shared with them his knowledge, anecdotes and stories of the early settlers and early history of West Vancouver. Next year, along with our "friend", why don't you join the "Memory Cruise" and in this delightful way learn of our past and view our present. The Library has a good collection of photographs and memorabilia of the early days of West Vancouver. Additions to this collection are gratefully received.
