Their impact on the day to day function ing of the Library is considerable. The Friends maintain all the Library's plants, deliver books, taped books and records to homebound patrons, assist during special functions such as Remem brance Day Open House at the Library, administer the book donor program and organize fund--raising enterprises such as Book Sales and last Fall's raffle of books by West Vancouver authors. But apart from these important and worth while activities the Friends of the by acting Library assist in another way as a communication link with the commun ity and the Municipal Administration.
