Certainly it promises to be exciting, as the presence of a World's Fair will affect all of us. We hope that you'll continue to patron ize the Memorial Library in record numbers as you did in 1985. This year we hope that we'll be able to provide a few more new books and related material than last year. And speaking of "related materials", all of you who received VCR's or compact disk players for Christmas should note our growing collections in these formats. hope that our microfiche catalogue (for backup to the computer catalogue) will at long last arrive and allow us to retire the old, terribly outdated card file. When it goes, we'll lay on extra sessions to teach anyone who's interested how to use the terminal and the micro fiche reader to locate the books you want. We hope that the monthly displays by local artists and the discussion groups and other programs held in the Library will provide stimulation and enjoyrn3nt.
