Call 988-6844 for more information. Of Salmon and Streams The Coho Festival, an annual celebration of the return of salmon to North Shore streams andrivers,unfolds September 8-15. As part of the festival, North and West Vancouver schoolchildren participate in Coho Fantasy, an art display at Park Royal Shopping Centre's South Mall (both levels). The art show is sponsored by the Coho Festival Society and coordinated by the West Vancouver Community Arts Council. Everyone is welcome to attend a salmon barbecue and an afternoon of entertainment at Ambleside Park on Sunday, September 12th. Money Comes In, Money Goes Out The West Vancouver Community Arts Council's continuing efforts to provide artists withfinancialassistance were recently rewarded with a $2000 grant from the Government of British Columbia through the Ministry of Tourism and Culture. The funds were awarded in support of artists' fees incurred by the Harmony Arts Festival. Two West Vancouver high school graduates recently received $500 Jones was also awarded die N F A C Publisher's Choice. He will receive a fullpage, full colour spread in the February issue of Art impressions, and be commissioned by Campus Art Reproductions to produce an original painting.
