West Van Council Celebrates National Book Week The West Vancouver Community Arts Council is pleased to announce that it has received a Canada Council grant to celebrate National Book Week. The theme of this year's National Book Week is "Words to Share." The event lakes place April 24th to M a y 1st. To help us celebrate, we have invited Rona Murray to read from her soon-to-bepublished book, which is tentatively titled Back to Peshawar. The book is a personal quest for the author's roots, and it covers the period before partition and compares it with modem India. It will be published by Sono-Nis in Victoria. The reading will take place Tuesday, April 27th, at 7 pm at the Silk Purse (1750 Argyle Ave.) in West Vancouver. Arts in Action at Centennial Theatre Mark this date on your calendars now!
