Norman Mervyn Barring ton-Foote claims his name forced him to develop a sense of humour at an early age. "I was sixteen before I could spell it properly," he quips. A i age 11. Norman's parents gave him his first guitar and set the stage for a lifelong dream to have a record contract. With idols that included the Beatles, Hank Williams and Elvis, it wasn't long before Norman switched to the electric guitar.
