On Oct 9th we will travel by ferry to Galiano Island to visit individual artists' studios featuring paintings, cartooning, stained glass, weaving and sculpture. We have the option of bringing a bag lunch or wandering down to the "marketplace" where we can purchase the best soup and sandwich on the island. The co-op gallery plans to open its doors for us (it's closed in the off season), and we will receive a warm welcome from local artists. Come and join us! Departure from the Ferry Building at 8 am, Wednesday, October 9th. Participants must arrive 15 minutes prior to departure estimated return time is 8:00 pm.
