The North Shore Artists' Guild The N orth Shore Artists Guild completed another successful Juried Art Exhibition at the Capilano Mall May 28th to June 3rd, with 73 paintings shown by artists from the North Shore. Now they're setting their sights on summer. At the Harmony Arts Festival, members of the Guild have juried paintings on display in a tent at Ambleside and artists will be in attendance. Also, the plein air painters from the Guild and others will be meeting to sketch and paint with fellow artists on Saturdays and Sundays beginning July 7th through to the 29th, from 10:30 to 2:30 each day at Park Royal, along the waterfront, the parks to Ambleside and Dundarave. Please come and see how they interpret the scene in front of them. This will be a fitting way to further celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the formation of the Guild. Alfonso Tejeda, appointed as British Columbia's plein air M aster by the International Plein Air Painters O rganization, is the member responsible for this programme. This is open to anyone who might be interested in joining with the Guild members. Contact Alfonso at atejada@shaw.ca .
