" Founded in 1999 by Gillian Morris and Tracy-Leigh Campbell, Horned M o o n works diligently to present strong roles for women both on and off stage, while providing exposure and experience for emerging theatre artists as they begin their professional careers. 7b Wit To Wed to Woo does just this, by empowering a successful actor, producer and co-Artistic Director of Theatre Tart, T Weir, to try her hand at playwriting, and by employing four emerging actors while giving them the chance to play some of the richest female roles In the history of English literature. T Weir, actor extraordinaire, Artistic Director, and now proud playwright, appeared in Horned Moon's production of Gut Girls in 1999. She toured the Fringe circuit last summer with Theatre Tart's production of Tit for Tat (said Victoria's Monday Magazine, "Strlndberg, Feydeau, saucy chicks and torn c l o t h i n g -- y u m ! " ) , and prior to that she hurtled on stage as Rhonda Penny in Norm Foster's Office Hours. Weir toured with Relic Theatre to the Winnipeg, Edmonton and Victoria Fringe Festivals performing Waiting for Bedaux which she co-wrote.
