This a show which has students playing a part in performing music from as simple as Hot Cross Buns with a Twist to Tchaikovsky's String Serenade. Audience members might become actors as the first year students perform, other students perform music ranging from serene melody music to electric jazz and foot stompin' melodies. Students in this program learn, grow and enrich our lives. In turn, our schools are enriched by the participation of parents and local musicians such as Claude Giguere and members of professional organizations such as the Vancouver Symphony who come to the rehearsals to conduct workshops on their instruments. This positive partnership is a wonderful example of how music and the arts can enhance the quality of life in our society.
