A n o n - p r o f i t society, M a l a s p i n a was f o u n d e d in 1975 intent o n p r o viding a r t i s t - p r i n t m a k e r s w i t h a fully e q u i p p e d , affordable a n d safe s t u d i o , a n d t o increasing public a w a r e n e s s in fine a r t prints and p r i n t m a k i n g . A n d since its i n c e p t i o n , it's n e v e r l o o k e d b a c k . T h e M a l a s p i n a has e x h i b i t e d t h r o u g h o u t N o r t h A m e r i c a , and as far afield as P e r u , S c o t l a n d , Finland, Italy, and Australia. C a r o l N y m a r k , executive d i r e c t o r o f t h e Society, believes that this 2 4 t h annual s h o w is, as a g r o u p , the first t o take place o n t h e N o r t h Shore. A s y o u can s e e , p r i n t m a k e r s work in a w i d e variety of media. But d o n ' t d e s p a i r -- t h e r e will be p r i n t i n f o r m a t i o n at the gallery.
