I even used my g r a n d s o n s ' names f o r that of t h e t w o main c h a r a c t e r s . L a t e r w h e n I read it over, I saw it was just t h e g e r m of a s t o r y that c o u l d be d e v e l o p e d i n t o s o m e t h i n g m o r e . A m o n t h and 16,000 w o r d s later I finished Raymond's Raindance, of a challenge. H a r r i l l d e l i b e r a t e l y c h o s e t h e m o s t n o n d e s c r i p t local b i r d as the hero, and giving h i m a personality t o o k s o m e doing." T h e difficulty isn't p u b lishing, it's finding a d i s t r i b u t o r w h o will take o n a o n e - t i t l e publisher.
