Showing Around Town The Garden Sculpture Show: North Vancouver artist Michael Binkley is showing original sculptures at his home gallery at 535 East 2nd St.. M a y 23-26. The pieces are designed to weather the elements of any garden and include sundials, gargoyles, abstracts and fountains (Angel Fountain in limestone with terra cotta pots pictured below). The Seymour Art Gallery presents Patterns in aluminum and gold by Ruth Scheuing and Lynne Green. M a y 1-26. Pictured below is one of the metal busts Scheuing creates, based on 19th-century dress patterns. Green creates mixed-media paintings resplendently adorned with 2 4 K gold. North Shore Reflections, triptych of needle art designed by Lucille Little and produced over five years by over 90 members of North Shore Needle Arts, is now permanently on display at Lions Gate Hospital (main floor). The three framed panels, measuring 30" x 55", have exhibited at the L u c a s Centre, the North Vancouver District H a l l , Centennial Theatre Centre L o b b y and the Government o f Canada Fine Arts Gallery.
